Finding a bag of weed money and giving it to my friends... at primary school.
You read that right. I was the ripe age of six? Maybe seven? and I found mums mates bag of weed money in our travel cot. So naturally I did what all normal children do and gave it away. Yep, a really normal response to finding a dodgy bag of money in your house. And I’m not talking five dollar notes, I’m talking 100 dollar bills being aimlessly thrown away to other small children in the hopes that this might help me make friends. You know, just normal behavior for a child to have. It definitely made me the talk of the town alright, parents growing increasingly concerned that their kid had just come home saying ‘I got money at school today! Not the orange cash, the red one!’ As an adult I giggle at the sheer audacity (and innocence) of a kid giving dodgy money away, and then I think about what I would do if my own kid did that to me…
